Bali Backpackers is a small independent website for budget travelers heading to Bali. It does one job: helping you get through the entry steps (visa, arrival card, tourism levy, passport rules) on time, without paying anyone for things that are free.

Who is behind it?

The site is published by Bali Backpackers as an organization. There is no named team of editors or travel experts, and we do not claim one. Pages are researched and written from official sources, with software tools used for research and drafting. Every factual statement is checked against the source cited next to it before publication.

What we do not do

• We do not review hostels, tours or places we have not visited, and we do not write first-hand travel stories.
• We are not a visa agent, travel agent or government body, and we do not sell visas or process applications.
• Nothing here is legal or immigration advice. Indonesian authorities set and enforce the rules.

How is the site funded?

At the moment there are no ads, no affiliate links and no sponsored content. If that changes, affected pages will say so clearly, and our editorial policy will explain how links are chosen. We will not accept payment to be listed or ranked, and we will not link to paid visa agents.
