All Indonesia arrival card: when the 72-hour window opens for your flight
The free All Indonesia arrival card is the customs and health declaration. When to fill it in, in Bali time and yours, and how to avoid paid lookalikes.

In short
- Fill in the All Indonesia card online within the 72 hours (3 days) before you land in Indonesia.
- It is free. GOV.UK warns against other websites or email links that ask for payment.
- It covers the customs and health declaration; it is not a visa and does not replace one.
- The 72 hours count back from your landing time in Bali (WITA, UTC+8), not from your departure.
- Official portal: allindonesia.imigrasi.go.id (an app is also available).
The All Indonesia arrival card is the online form travelers to Indonesia fill in before landing. The rules are simple. The catch is timing: you have to fill it in within a set window before arrival, and the website lookalikes charge for something that is free.
What is the All Indonesia arrival card?
GOV.UK describes it as the online customs and health declaration, completed on the All Indonesia arrival card website or app.[GOV.UK entry] The official portal is allindonesia.imigrasi.go.id, run by Indonesia’s immigration directorate.[All Indonesia] After completing the form you can also use the All Indonesia app to apply for a visa.[GOV.UK entry]
It is not a visa. You still need a visa on arrival, an e-VOA or another visa, unless you are exempt. See the visa on arrival guide.
When do I fill it in?
Within the 72 hours before you arrive. GOV.UK says within 72 hours of arrival, and the eVisa site says within 3 days before arrival.[GOV.UK entry][eVisa site]
The window counts back from when you land. Bali uses WITA: UTC+8, with no daylight saving time.[IANA tz] If you are flying from another time zone, that makes the opening time easy to get wrong.
Worked example. Your flight lands in Bali on Dec 10 at 2:30 PM WITA. The window opens 72 hours earlier: Dec 7, 2:30 PM WITA.
| Where you are | The window opens at |
|---|---|
| Bali (WITA, UTC+8) | Dec 7, 2:30 PM |
| Perth (AWST, UTC+8) | Dec 7, 2:30 PM |
| Sydney (AEDT, UTC+11 in December) | Dec 7, 5:30 PM |
| London (GMT, UTC+0 in December) | Dec 7, 6:30 AM |
| Los Angeles (PST, UTC−8 in December) | Dec 6, 10:30 PM |
The arrival planner does this for your own flight and time zone, and can add a reminder to your calendar.
How much does it cost?
Nothing. GOV.UK states that the All Indonesia arrival card is free, and that travelers should avoid alternative websites or email links that request payment for it.[GOV.UK entry]
What about the customs declaration (e-CD)?
GOV.UK describes the All Indonesia form as the customs and health declaration.[GOV.UK entry] The customs directorate also runs its own e-CD site, ecd.beacukai.go.id. It has separate forms for arrivals by air and sea and by land, and for carrying money (BC 3.2) and goods (BC 3.4).[e-CD site]
What we have not verified: duty-free allowances and cash limits. They are set by customs and we could not read them on an official page, so we do not list them. If you are carrying a lot of cash or goods to declare, check the e-CD site.
What should I have ready at the airport?
- Your arrival card confirmation.
- Your approved e-VOA, or the payment for the visa on arrival.
- Your passport, with the validity GOV.UK describes (6 months after arrival and 2 blank pages for British passports) and proof of onward travel.[GOV.UK entry]
- Your Bali levy voucher if you paid online.
Questions travelers ask
Can I fill in the arrival card more than 3 days before I fly?
GOV.UK says to fill it in within 72 hours of arrival, and the eVisa site says within 3 days before arrival. Start once your window opens, which our planner works out from your landing time.
Does the arrival card replace the customs declaration?
GOV.UK describes the All Indonesia form as the online customs and health declaration. The customs directorate still runs its own e-CD site for other declarations, such as carrying money or goods.
Do I still need a visa if I have filled in the arrival card?
Yes, unless you are visa-exempt. The arrival card is a declaration. Your visa or e-VOA is separate; see our visa on arrival guide.
